How do you feel when someone gives you a referral? If you’re like me, you’re overjoyed because it saves you money on marketing and advertising. As the saying goes, ‘word of mouth is the best marketing tool.’ Getting a referral helps to ease the sales process because you’re coming to the table with credibility.
Just as receiving a referral is great, it’s just as important to give referrals. As an entrepreneur, you should be eager to help your colleagues in their business. Why? Because the more you give, the more you get in return. Many of you know it as Karma -what goes around comes back around.
Here’s a challenge for you – when you go to networking events or any outings, think of your colleagues – who would be a good fit and how you can make it happen. Remember, if you refer business to your colleagues, you will stand out and be remembered.
