Small businesses that support each other do better. Are you active in your local Chamber of
Commerce? The Chamber of Commerce is also a goldmine of information about local economic
development, trends, and policies. If you have the space to accommodate the meeting, offer to host a meeting so the members get to see your place of business. At the chamber meetings business owners are kept abreast of what is going on in the community. If you are not a member of your Chamber of Commerce you are really missing out on some great opportunities to network and mingle with other business owners, politicians and community leaders.
